I have a Credit Monitoring membership and check my report diligently so I will definitley update with the results.Ĭopyright ©2001- Fair Isaac Corporation. At least I have the letter now if I need to dispute. Somehow, I believe him but the consequences of my trust remains to be seen. I called back yesterday and had no trouble talking to him about when exacly the tradeline would be removed and he said they report to the CRA's once a month at the end of the month.

Other than not providing a letter prior to my payment, he was easy enough to deal with and I tended to believe him. Anyway, I paid the $61 on Monday and called back and got the letter faxed to me within 15 minutes that said all tradelines would be removed. I couldn't find anything suggesting that they WOULD follow through either but my thinking was that if people had been burned by AWA's promise, that I would be able to find something about it. However after a lot of searching on internet forums I couldn't finid anything suggesting that AWA did not follow through for others. I too asked in writing for what they were promising over the phone - that they would completely remove this tradeline.

Please feel free to provide suggestions and please update on outcomes! I don't think they get that not everyone responds well to bullies - it certainly won't get me to send money. The irony is that if they were just a bit more respectful, and were willing to type up a simple statement reflecting the payment arrangements, this would have been settled long ago. So - since they've already ruined my credit - I'm in no rush. And this company has me scared to send money. and I refuse to send anything to this company. I disagree with the amount of interests, fee's, etc. He told me I must not care about my credit - yet they've already ruined my credt by reporting to all three CRA's! I've told him repeatedly that all advisors say to get an agreement in writing before making a single payment - and that's all that's standing in the way of me paying - and they refuse.

He told me that ".they deal with thousands of people every day and do not have time to type out a simple letter just for me". Price" already is rude, insulting, asks questions then doesn't wait for me to answer, but talks loudly over me (I made the mistake of answering the phone on an unlisted #!). The only reason I have not, is because I cannot get anything in writing and that doesn't make me feel comfortable at all.

No! Unfortunately, I have not paid AWA as of yet.
